We are pleased to invite scholars, practitioners, policymakers and designers to submit abstracts for the International Conference on Nature-based Solutions for Climate Change. The conference aims to bring together interdisciplinary perspectives on how nature-based solutions can support climate adaptation, biodiversity conservation, urban resilience, ecological restoration, and sustainable development.
Submissions are welcome from diverse fields, including landscape architecture, urban planning, ecology, environmental science, environmental engineering, geography, climate science, public policy, and related disciplines.
Key Dates
Call for abstracts released: 15 May 2026
Abstract submission deadline: 30 June 2026, 23:59 (UTC+8)
Notification of abstract acceptance: July 15, 2026
Author registration deadline: 30 August 2026
Presentation Formats
Participants may choose one of the following formats:
1. Oral Presentation
Selected abstracts will be invited for oral presentation during the conference sessions. Presentations should address original research, practical experience, design innovation, policy insights, or case studies related to nature-based solutions and climate change.
2. Poster Presentation
Poster presentations are intended to encourage broader academic exchange and visual communication. They are especially suitable for ongoing research, project-based studies, design proposals, and preliminary findings.
Abstract Submission Types
Authors may submit either a short abstract or a long abstract.
1. Short Abstract
Short abstracts are intended for conference presentation and academic exchange only. They should briefly introduce the research background, objectives, methods, key findings, and implications.
-Short abstract title: Maximum 20 words
-Short abstract body text: maximum 500 words. This 500-word limit does not include the title or author details of the abstract
-Short abstract keywords: Maximum 5
2.Long Abstract
Long abstracts are intended for authors who wish to be considered for further publication opportunities in conference-supported journals or special issues. Long abstracts should provide a more developed account of the study, including research questions, methodology, findings, discussion, and contribution to the field. Selected long abstracts may be invited for further development into full papers to be published in the conference-supported journals after the review by the Science Committee.
-Long abstract title: Maximum 20 words
-Long abstract body text: Maximum 1500 words (not including references)Short abstract keywords: Maximum 5
-Structure: should be composed of the sections of introduction/objective, method and data, results and discussion, conclusion and references
